McKinney, TX Development Impact Fees (2026)

McKinney is a Texas home-rule city in Collin County; the City is the RETAIL water/wastewater provider (NTMWD is the wholesale supplier and does not separately bill builders). Texas Local Government Code Ch. 395 limits IMPACT fees to water, wastewater, roadway, and drainage only. McKinney levies WATER, WASTEWATER, and ROADWAY impact fees (adopted/effective December 1, 2020; Land Use Assumptions/CIP/Ord. Ch. 130).
