(1) City development impact fees for Parks & Recreation, Police, and Fire — adopted via the 2019 Meridian Development Impact Fees study and indexed/adjusted effective 2/1/2023; fees are TIERED by square feet of climate-controlled (living) space, NOT a flat per-unit fee. Representative ~2,000-2,500 sq ft single-family home falls in the "1,701 to 2,500 sq ft" tier: Parks $4,119 + Police $402 + Fire $995 = $5,516 city impact total. Multifamily uses the SAME tier table based on average unit size (total building climate-controlled sq ft / number of units), so a typical small MF unit (e.g., 1,200 sq ft or less) = Parks $1,946 + Police $190 + Fire $470 = $2,606/unit. All other size tiers included as excludeFromTotal rows. (2) Water & sewer CONNECTION (Assessment) fees: Water $1,696, Wastewater/Sewer $5,807 — confirmed by City of Meridian Resolution No. 26-2566 (adopted March 2026, effective 6/1/2026, superseding all prior fees).

Note

the researcher referenced these as "per ERU / MMC 26-2566"; the primary instrument is actually Resolution No. 26-2566 and labels them "Water Assessment Fee" / "Wastewater Assessment Fee" (the per-ERU framing comes from the live City Fee app, which agrees on amounts). (3) Water meter purchase fee for a standard 3/4" residential meter with single-port MXU radio = $422.37 (effective 3/5/2025) — this is in ADDITION to the water assessment. Caveats

meridiancity.org PDFs were fetched directly via curl with a browser UA (succeeded); apps.meridiancity.org/CITYFEEWEB live app returns 403 to automated fetch, but the ERU amounts were independently confirmed via the City Council resolution PDF surfaced from official meeting records. The current city impact fee schedule reflects the 2/1/2023 inflation adjustment to the 2019 study; no newer adopted schedule supersedes it as of 2026-06-16. ACHD multifamily transportation fee omitted because it is set by individual assessment, not a published per-unit figure.
